My web site is finally up! There are a handful of paintings, which is just the beginning! in the next few weeks I will be adding a lot more.

I am hopeful that by the first of November I will have most of the paintings up as well as all the check out equipment so that you can buy prints of many sizes, cards, and my books at a reduced rate.
I am in the process of turning a book account ~ which is also titled "Dryad dance" ~ to reflect the web site and be dedicated to my paintings, poetry and novels.

A Dryad,
as you may know, is the Spirit of a Tree. Here you will find an
eclectic collection of fine paintings, and poetry that deal with Trees
. . . dancing . . .Dryads . . . spirits . . . magic . . . mystery . .
.and much more. There are Faeries and fantasy; abstracts and animals;
children and chakra studies. You will find here perceptions turned to
paintings and ideas which have become image. There are rainbows, wishes
and wind; the sacred and serene and even Shakespeare.
My paintings are done with a Wacom graphire tablet and a pen, freehand
on the computer, using an ancient program called “Painter 5.” which it seems has gone from the endangered list to being extinct. Except mine, which may be last on the planet. I have spoken to quite a few artists who say it is the best program they ever used, but it isn't to be found, even on E-Bay. I live in a bit of constant fear that mine will crash. I do have a new program and a new pen and a bigger better tablet. i intend to begin learning new ways of doing things soon!
my paintings
cover so many subjects that it was hard to make categories. The
paintings are, for the most part, soft and full of light, with a
distinct feeling of fantasy. On the other hand, there are vivid, strong
works of bright color, abstracts, landscapes, whimsey and humor, pictured quotes ,
words of wisdom and paintings of holiday, celebration and revels!
Here you will also find paintings and poems paired. I am a
multi-published poet and actually began painting in order to make
concrete images of some of my poems. I have done similar things with
music and much with art concerning The Dance.
i intend to use this bloog to talk about some of the paintings, poetry and books. I will introduce new paintings and new books here.
